Treadmills can cost a good deal of money, so it is important that you consider your budget before you buy, and consider any treadmill ratings you may come across. Discount treadmills can readily be found, but it is also equally important that you buy the highest quality machine that you can find, which is of course only common sense. The smart buyer will always want to get the most of his money. And so do you.

A decent treadmill probably wouldn’t take too much from your wallet. Plan on spending at least $1,000. Believe me, that isn’t a lot compared to other home exercise equipment that people keep in their houses. If you want better than decent, try adding some $300 or $500 in there. There are some pretty good models that fall under that price range, but remember that cheap treadmills are often worth exactly like what their price dictates. But that’s not to say that you won’t find some good quality discount treadmills.
