Lose Abdominal Fat

by Ray Lam

If you really want a six pack you will have to change your eating pattern. Eat less each meal but eat more meals per day. Most fitness experts say that you have to eat one small meal every three hours. Some professional fitness models and bodybuilders go even a step further and are eating seven or more meals per day but five or even six meals is ok. Keep an eye on your calorie intake. In order to lose weight you should burn more calories then you take in otherwise you won’t lose belly fat. You can spend hours in the gym but if you have a layer fat on your belly nobody will see your abdominal muscles.

Doing strength training is one of the best ways to lose abdominal fat fast. With strength training you build up your muscle mass and at the same time you are increasing your metabolism.

Another great way to lose abdominal fat is doing regular cardio exercises. You must do exercises such as stair climbing, jogging or brisk walking on a daily basis. To get an effect you should do the cardio exercise for at least thirty minutes.

By lowering the calories you take in throughout the day you can begin to focus your attention on toning and defining your abdominal area. Belly fat can be the most stubborn area of the body so it really does include many different factors in order to make this happen. It is important to remember that men and women lose abdominal fat differently and for males, it is generally the very last area of the body you will lose fat.

However, merely by controlling diet and cardio will not help you to flatten your abdominal. When it comes to losing abdominal fat, it is advisable that you do some sit ups before you proceed to cardio exercises. This will increase the fat burning rate at your stomach as opposed to the entire body.
